Refusing to Undergo Test Identification Parade Cannot Be Sole Ground of Conviction: SC

On Tuesday, the Supreme Court held that conviction could not be based solely on the ground that the accused refused to undergo a Test Identification Parade. A three-judge Bench of Hon’ble Justice DY Chandrachud, Hon’ble Justice Indu Malhotra and Hon’ble Justice Indira Banerjee has given its Judgment while deciding a Criminal Appeal. The Bench observed
